Colten

Jan 28th at 3:32am Colten joined our family, after a little more than an hour in the hospital and only 10min of pushing our drug free labor was over and our healthy little boy came into this world waying 8lbs 6oz and was 20inches long!

My sister Sarah was a great help during the labor along with Stephen

He has a lot of hair! Its the same color as Stephens a light redish brown

Grandma and Sam were our first visitors in the morning

they brought us a yummy breakfast and Sam was very interested in checking out the hospital and meeting his little brother

Happy Anniversary

My husband and I recently celebrated our 4th Anniversary, and this has been the first year we have really celebrated! We started out the day with going to the Ceramic Cafe it was so much fun to just be creative and make something fun!

 We then went to dinner at the Rivershore Bar and Grill we had the place all to ourselves there was a beautiful view and we just spent the evening talking and enjoying our yummy food.

Later we went to a movie, then rented a movie and called it a night, it has been 4 years of fun, struggle, moving, school, lots of change, and tons of love! I look forward to the many years we have ahead and cant wait for the fun we will have!!

Me at 35 weeks pregnant, we are all getting very excited, it should be any day now!

Merry Late Christmas

Our beautiful real tree, this is our first year that we have gotten a real tree which we loved!

 Stephen woke up early and decorated the house with lights, all down the stairs, and the furniture in the living room

 I made red and green pancakes with bananas and chocolate chips, lets say it went over really well with Sam

 We went on to open presents, Sam decided he needed to open all the presents, he was very excited about the Twilight books I got and the Journal Stephen got along with all his fun things.

 The last big surprise present was his home made pillow pet. He now sleeps with it every night and says it protects him from scary monsters its so cute!

 Another fun surprise was a tent from Grandma and Grandpa Walker, which we set up and Sam and Dad and pillow pet had to climb right into and start reading books, it was so sweet!

 Grandma and Grandpa LeBlanc surprised us with another tent when we went to visit them Christmas day, Sam loved it and yet again Dad had to join him for a fun time.

Crafting fever!

I have been in a very crafty mood lately here is what I have been up to:

I made Sam another hat this one has ear flaps (a first for me) it turned out really cute a little big so hopefully it will fit him next year

 For Christmas Sam wanted a pillow pet and I couldn't justify buying a dinky  little pillow pet for $20 so I made him a nice big one that is very cute, and its a Lion which they don't sell in store! I used the http://twelvecraftstillchristmas.blogspot.com/ blog for my inspiration she has a really good tutorial on how she made one here so if you want to make one check it out, I did change it to fit my needs.

Lastly I made this cute hat, it will be to big for the baby so maybe I will save it for next year for him, Sam has way to many hats already!

Gingerbread House

We made out gingerbread house today, we all had a blast getting messy and tasting all the goodies!

 Our roof kept falling down from us putting the candy on so we decided to make a flat roof, next year I think I will make the house structure first and let it harden and then we can decorate later.

 All done, Sam is very proud of it. He put all the buttons on the snow man, the mint kisses on the roof, the coins and the pretzels!

Zoo Lights

We took a fun trip to the Zoo, we went early so we could feed the birds and see some of the animals before the lights came on.

 Watching the polar bear, he was dancing and Sam was in love!

It was such a fun trip, I don't know why I didn't take any pictures of the lights but they were very beautiful!

Feeding the ducks

We were looking for something fun to do before work started back up, Stephen had the fun idea of trying to find some ducks to feed. We figured there wouldn't be very many out there but our first stop supplied lots of ducks, seagulls and pigeons!

 Sam loved feeding the birds then chasing after them

 Stephen found a few brave pigeons that would let him hand feed them

 Sam was very sleepy by the time we left, I just had to get a picture with the water behind them

 When the pigeons would fly they would all take off together then swoop around in a circle and land around us here is the best picture I got of them flying.
